Educational Assistance to deserving poor

 Come, May every year, we patronize close to 150 school going children and a few college students by way of part or full payment of their fees costing around Rs 3,00,000 per annum.

Employment Exchange – EmpEX

Unemployment and Unemployability are the two major social challenges every youth is facing today.

The idea of EmpEx to guide, prepare and facilitate the youth to face the situation and yet find a suitable placement.

Using our member network we plan to train the youth for writing their resumes, prepare them for GD and interviews etc. We will also update them on various openings available in different industries and companies.

Medical / Eye / Blood Donation Camps

 Our members are the regular blood donors and we invite clubs like Lions and Rotary at regular intervals.

 We started this activity around 5 years back. We have even adopted a village called MADAMBAKKAM, which lacks medical facility and most of the people are extremely under nourished. We take a team of Doctors consisting of Consultant Physician, Pediatrician, Gynecologist, Dentist, etc. Last 2 years we are tied-up with Sankara Eye Hospital for conducting Eye camp and 2 camps are conducted in Adambakkam. Plans to expand in remote area.

Sastha Bhajan Rathna

 In order to disseminate the values of Sampradhaya Bhajans amongst children and also to popularise bhajan as an approach to reach God, this year onwards we have decided to conduct A Bhajan Contest for children. We will enroll a few troupes and organise this contest under the able judgement of eminent judges in this domain. This is scheduled to be in May / June every year.

Support to Orphanages and Elderly Homes

 This has been one of our core activities right from inception. The beneficiaries include Sivananda Ashram, Sri Saradha Sakthi Peetam, Udhavum Ullangal, Janakalayan Sevashram at Nuthanjeri, etc and our support is in the form food, Medicines, Dresses, other materials like toiletries.

Annadhanam for the poor

 Every year during December, coinciding with Laksharchana for Lord Ayyappa, thousands of poor are fed at Adambakkam, Chennai Similarly, on the 4th January of every year, at Periyanaivattam, a place in the hill approaching Pamba, lots of people are provided with a sumptuous meal with a good quality drinking water, a matter of rarity there.

Cremation Expenses for the under privileged

 To a few of the down trodden family, to carry out the last rites for the deceased ones, we do share a little of their expenses.

Financial Assistance for poor people’s marriage

 What can be the best service than this? On a need based manner, looking at the family back ground we do support a few of them. So far around many families have benefited through this endeavor.
